Welcome to the Forum, lester, sorry, I have never been on it either. Good luck.
I know nothing about the reservoir, but I would try to find deep water and use a night crawler with a blown up tail, behind a walking sinker on a #6 or 8 hook. Open the bail and pinch the line between your fingers. When you feel the tap (of the pickup) let the line go as the fish will only swim a few feet. Wait 30 seconds, close the bail and reel in the slack. Once you feel the weight…set the hook. If it is windy, drift along with Lindy rigs. Good luck!
Fished there last night. Didn't get any walleye. Kept getting catfish. Usually use a nightcrawler on a jig head. Troll or drift fish if wind is strong enough. Not sure where the walleye were hiding last night.
That is how I fish for them. I like to get in front of boat and drop jig and nite crawler on the bottom and move slowly using trolling motor. Lifting and dropping jig. Sometimes spoons work good too. Same technique. Good luck let us know how you do.
