Hot Florida

Last full day of a 12 day trip in sunny, hot Florida. My plan was to try some serious fishing off my dock on the channel but it never happened. It's been low to mid 90's everyday. I don't do well with the heat. I think my wife wanted this place knowing the heat would kill me. So my choice was sit on the dock fishing and sweating or floating in the pool with my wife and drinking wine. Guess which one I chose?

Don't know your wife or your
situation, but if it was me, I'd
rather be fishing, heat or no heat !
On hot days, I just soak my shirt/
T-shirt in whatever water I'm
fishing, wring it out good, then
put it back on ! The evaporation
will keep you about 10° cooler -
repeat process when shirt
dries out !
(And don't forget the beer !)
