I originally started life in Northwest Montana in a little town on the Kootenia River, and lakes aplenty. I've been down here in Northern California for some time now and am trying to learn more about the fishing spots and species on Shasta Lake, and also surrounding areas. Any info would be nice and thank you for allowing me to join here. Jeff Oleson

You should PM Mitchfish. He use to fish Shasta all the time and catch lots of fish.
However, a few months ago he moved to Texas.

Welcome to the Stage Jeff. Saw is right on, Mitch was killing it on Shasta. He would be the man to talk to. Good luck and Tight Lines.

Drove past Lake Shasta this past Monday and as many times that I have, I’ve never seen it as low as it is. Closed ramps and all. And Mt. Shasta didn’t have a spec of snow on it. Simply unheard of. It’s a glacier…🐟on

Wow! I’ve never seen Shasta without any snow on it.
