A couple of weeks ago I posted pictures of the box of lures my wife purchase for $8.00 at a garage sale. Someone posted they would like to see them after I cleaned them up. Here are the first six. I have cleaned them off all the rust and attached new treble hooks. I need to purchase larger hooks to complete the clean up. I will try them out this coming week.

Looking good! Great Job Papa Jack! I'd fish with those or put them in a shadow box. Either way fine job.

Way to go Papa Jack. I'm constantly on the lookout for lures that need cleaned up & put back in service. I have a good selection of paint sticks & markers plus a wide assortment of fingernail polish that would made any woman jealous, almost any woman. I also have an airbrush but I like the looks of a coat of clear with glitter put on with nail polish. I enjoy fixing up the depressed lures, even spinnerbaits. A new skirt & paint job really does the trick. You do good work, keep it up.

Nice job.
$8.00 would buy just one of those lures new

I repaint lures and buy a lot on the cheap. Amazing what a good clean up and hardware change can do.

Now go out and catch a limit !!!

Best $8 ever spent! Another couple bucks for new treble hooks and you’re in business.

Wow...you certainly hit the jackpot on that batch! Good to see them come back to life and ply the waters once again. Each lure is a proven winner!

Me, I'd archive the bottom 5 and fish with the Rapala....or is it? Don't know but it's the best of the lot
