Never have been a crankbait fisherman, but i gave into it today and put 9 in the boat. The smallest one i caught on a topwater spook, the rest were all with a crankbait. I'm hooked.......

Nice fish, but don't be so easy. How can your name be, "Pounding banks" and you are fishing from a boat?

Top water fishing really gets the blood pumping. The anticipation of a strike can be really intense. Here’s to many more fish on top water baits.

Don’t you realize that’s his Native American name flyguy? 🤔🥴

Awesome LM Bass PB. I’ve always caught more bass on topwater and spinner baits. Keep showing us your pics and Welcome to the Stage.

Nice photo spread and story line! You obviously have the "Midas touch" with running the crankbaits! Looks like very bassy habitat.

You’re welcome. Have you tried worm fishing. In fact if they’re still on their beds, use a black salamander. They hate salamanders.

Not the best wormer, I've dabbled with it and caught some, but i tend to use lures that i have to work more.
And they seem to be off their beds already. Water temp is up to 81.5 already.

Thx, actually this lake is one of the worst for catching in the area, but 3 miles to the ramp is hard to beat.
