Don’t know if in 20 years I will be poking these keys, but a good point being made here.

Sure, we all want to leave something for the kids but we’ve earned it and now have the time to enjoy it.

However, it’s that running out of what is needed that concerns a lot of us. It just would be nice if the man upstairs would let us know when the expiration date is.

Good Mornin' plum, glad to see that you are still with us. I was starting to become concerned.

That Mark fella, was a smart bird, wasn't he?

Excellent one Bob. I tell my wife all the time, "what am I going to wait for to do something. Will it be better when I'm 80?"

Gmorn Plum n and all the rest of you fine young gentlemen. The only way to go back in time is in our minds. Too bad we miss things we wanted to do but time n budget made it impossible. Now we have time not always budget. Our minds are young but the body is bent bruised n broken. Preventing us from some activities. Still we get out there n do what we can. For many it's the MEMORIES of the grandchildren that keep us active. Thinking old is dangerous to our health. Think young live young play young. If you can stand up straight 2moro you'll know how active today 😀😀. Stay young boys n girls. Y'all have a great day. 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

Those grands and in some cases great grands are what KEEP you young, as long as you don't let yourself grow old.

One of my greatest fears is that by the time I am retired and have enough money and time to do the things I want to do…my body won’t be able to do those things. Just a reality, based on the foolish abuse I put my body through until now. I am sure I am not alone…

i was 22 when I got married. I had seen many of my parents and grandparents friends retire when they were in there 60-70's, and then pass away. This was after they had saved all there lives to travel. I told my bride, that was not going to be us, and by the time we were 50 that we would have seen a lot of the world. It was the one "Hindsight" that actually worked for us. With hard work and planning, we accomplished our (my) dreams. We have seen 38 countries, and 39 states. Still have a few to go! Now approaching our 54th Anniversary next week, we will be hitting the road to see more of this great country. God was very, very good this Hawaiian beach boy and my Illinois farm girl!

Good one Plum. We should all try to follow those words of wisdom as best as we can.

Where you going on your scuba/sailing trip Kandy? Best diving in the world for me was Fiji Loved NZ and the Kiwi's. Check out one of their sports bars for a little fun and games.

Thx YB, the plan is not done yet! May regret this road trip, going to be at our first stop next week which is Lake Havasu and it is suppose to be 116*. Have a sunset boat trip planned for our anniversary night on the lake. Problem is that it is going to be 110* at 7pm when we depart. Sounds like a few rum & cokes to me And no potties......whoops, wife is going to love that!
