Hi to all. I'm a sorta fisherman wanting to know more. Watched a lot of videos, read a lot of magazine articles but sometimes I feel like it I was going to catch a fish, someone would have to be under my boat putting them on my hook. I have all the gear, just not enough knowledge. I like bass and crappie fishing.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Bill

You've come to the right place Bill. Lots of Texans on here and every doggone one of em is a expert on bass and crappie fishin. Just ask em. Welcome to the stage. So you got a boat and a rod and a reel with line on it I'm guessing. Well you're goin in the right direction. Which lake around there are you fishing? I'm sure you're going to get a lot of questions and a lot of advice as well. Good luck. And post some photos. Welcome to the Stage sir.

Lol hit the wrong button. Crappie Minnie's under a bobber or small Jigs and small plastic under a bobber with some fish attractant on the Plastics. 😁👍

Hello Bill,

I'm about an hour east of NE of Dallas. There are a lot of good crappie lakes around in this area. Lavon, Fork, and Tawakoni to name a few. All three of those have a lot of hidden stumps, so be careful!

Which lakes do you normally fish? Do you read the TXPWD weekly fishing reports?

I haven't been able to get out and fish any yet this year due to an injury but I'm hoping to get on the water in the next couple of weeks.

Look forward to hearing from you,

J. Paul
