I'm currently using a 5.11 Rush 12 that I repurposed from my EDC bag, but I'm quickly outgrowing it. So, instead of just going with the bigger Rush 24, I figured I would ask for your opinions.

Price range would be up to $150, and links greatly appreciated.

My hands. Lol. Just kidding. I use an old backpack for catfishing and a Plano tackle bag for bass and crappie. Also use a waterproof storage container out on the kayak and for wade fishing. I guess I don't understand because I don't know what those things your talking about are.

5.11 is a brand and the Rush 12 and 24 are different bags they make.

Really just trying to see what everyone else uses before just buying another backpack with more pockets to keep my junk organized.

Damn, big big money, $150 to carry some fishing stuff, I hear ya! When I do fish from the bank I have a small tackle bag that has a spot for pliers, my filet knife in connected to the strap on the bag. I put the bag, rag and anything else I need in a five gallon bucket. The bucket is something I started carrying when I lived on the beach, its a container , chair, cutting board and can hold bait.

Well, I'm usually out for a few hours at a time and go pond hopping. So I like carrying baits that I think will work well as well as some pliers and some other small things. It's usually just a couple small boxes and my soft plastics. I just like trying to keep things organized instead of just throwing it all in the main pocket and figuring it out as I go.

a 5 gallon bucket with a soft lid to sit on . works great and just organize it a little with plastic bags. I have a back issue and the seat is a life saver at times.

for the beach I'm using an aluminum hand truck with balloon wheels. Mounted 2" PVC tubes for rods & long handles net holders. Cooler with ice sits on top of lid to a 7 gallon bucket. Use a husky bucket bag as an organizer - works great.

Grabbed an all aluminum rig from Bass Pro on sale for $149.99. More than enough room, very big wheels. I'm 80 and can still (with some effort of course) pull my rig ... which includes a beach chair and cooler and umbrella ... all the way to the light house, up from Hardy's beach on Cape Cod. I shore cast to my life's content ... and catch strippers and blues. Take a look at Bass Pro.

Fishing vest, but doesn’t carry much gear.
Backpack with boxes partitioned to carry lures, hooks, etc. Both are hand free so you can cast and walk around fish.
