I have a couple annoying fishing friends who won’t stop talking and the get in my face and cast over my line. How do you get rid of them? I like fishing by my self and enjoying nature silence fishing.

If you don’t want to confront them directly, forward these responses to their email. If they don’t get the message then take the advice of the 1st reply. “Don’t fish with them.”

Shark bait? Shouldn't say this, sounds like someone I know, my brother. Next time I see a gator I might throw him in. Just kidding of course.

Nothing works better than honesty. They're your friends for a reason. Friends are not easy to come by. "Guys, you're the best, but when it comes to us fishing together, this isn't working out for me." Ask why they do certain things. Ask them to amend their ways. Assuming they are real friends, they will do as you ask...if not, then beg off next time they ask to go fishing with you and tell them why. There is no reason why you shouldn't enjoy fishing either alone or with your friends. Friends are friends and fish are fish... some times they don't go to together.

Tell them the truth if it doesn't work out you fish by yourself, if it does that means they are real fishing friends.

GO AT A DIFFERENT TIME AND PLACE AND DON'T LET THEM KNOW TILL YOU GET BACK. THEY ASK WHY JUST BE HONEST. YOU WANTED TO GO BY YOURSELF TO SEE IF YOU COULD BE MORE FOCUSED ON FISHING INSTEAD OF HORSING AROUND. IF YOU DO WELL TELL THEM THERE WILL BE SOME GROUND RULES FOR WHEN THEY FISH WITH YOU. I HAVE HAD TO DO THAT SEVERAL TIMES AND IT HAS WORKED WELL ESPECIALLY THE GROUND RULES. DON'T CAST OVER MY LINE, THIS IS MY AREA TO FISH YOU HAVE THE REST OF THE AREA AND THAT YOU WILL NOT CROWD THEM. The MAIN THING IS TO EXPLAIN YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT FISHING AND NOT HORSING AROUND.

Eat sardines, pork and beans and about 4 hard boiled eggs before you go. You get the picture, they will stay down wind from you all day.
