Flounder grow to 20lbs or so, Halibut grow to 500lbs or so. In the Atlantic anyway.

On another topic, aren't you glad you kept your boat covered?

The only thing worse than shoveling the driveway, is shoveling out the boat.

Although I was aware that Halibut grow WAY larger than your typical Flounder (What "we" generally refer to as a Flounder...); I was not as well educated about those tasty critters 10 minutes ago, as I am now. ¡Thanks for the link, charlykilo!

Locate side-by-side photographs through a "web-search" and see the difference in their tails and other fins. Also, there is some "rule" about which way they are pointing, looking at them from the vent side, with their eyeballs up... Although, one or the other (I think the Halibut) doesn't ALWAYS "follow" the rule.
