Holes used for drainage if you ship too much water? Boat must ride up above holes. Stern cutaway.
looks like it may be a training vessel for rowers. hull takes on water to increase drag on the hull, making it more strenuous to row. Maybe?
Payments on the value of that boat, no doubt, are underwater.
I thought this was a great idea so I went out and bored holes in my Lund !!!
Can’t wait to try it
No fishing poles in that picture. Guy just waits till the fish swim through the boat and scoops them up. Clever.
Whitewater drift boat.
There was a recent boating magazine story about power boat scuppers. It said that you want scuppers big enough for the water to go out as fast as it comes in. Great theory, but I've never seen a power boat with scuppers that big. I had a self bailing whitewater raft, but this is the closest thing I've seen that might match that theory.
If that doesn’t get you rowing faster...I don’t know what will?
Must have serious flotation above the scuppers!
Definitely a shallow water craft. 😁

I'm thinking those long rows of oblong holes have some sort of "see-through" material "caulked" into them. They are your fish finders.
