Almost new to South Whidbey area.

I’m moving from Friday Harbor, so not completely new to the area. I’ll probably move in to Langley in mid May.
I want to start fishing again after many years.
Besides trout, what other kinds of fish are in Lone Lake? Also, does the state require one general license to fish in fresh water ? I had a license years ago for ocean fishing. Didn’t catch a thing except a cold. I hope to start catching my dinner this time.
Also does Langley have a Sailing Club and a Yacht Club ?

I have no idea of your age but if you happen to be 70+ you can get a senior discount and only pay $7.50 for the freshwater or 19.05 for a combo fresh and salt. being this is the odd number year we will be having a good return on the pink salmon which are pretty easy and fun to catch in both salt and fresh water and if they are caught in the salt or just as they start up the rivers and you bleed and put them on ice right away after you catch them are not bad to eat. good luck
