Hi;
EJ here from the NE where I fish Black Lake NY and fisheries in and around the NY, NJ, PA and CT area. A friend just bought a B&B in Washington, Ga. and of course other than home repair (we are both handy) that are needed we talk fishing. I see that Shenandoah River has some great tributaries nearby does anyone have any suggestions as to what the normal forage is for Large Mouth. I use a Senco wacky rigged usually Pumpkin, Smoke or Black depending upon the time of day. Love to fish plugs so when they bite and set the hook they always jump. Winters here in the NE are rough (not as tough as Texas this season, shout out to my Peeps in Texas stay safe). Looking forward to making the trek South to help my buddy and fish!

Welcome to the Stage EJ, from a fellow northeasterner. Sounds like a fun trip to Georgia. We've got a few members down that way, hopefully you'll get some good info. Good luck and Tight Lines!
PS, Nice intro fish!

I have fished Clarkhill resvoir a few times and there are some Big bass live there. This time of the year, talk to some bait shop for recent info. Pollards Corner used to be a good source . Have not been there in years so best of luck!
