I've lived here going on 14 years and had too many hobbies. I'm ready to make fishing my main one. Makes me think of my fun and successful Bass fishing as a kid. I'd forgotten what a strike felt like. I'm happy to say I'm back. It's exciting to read what's going on out there. One day in March 2020 they started hitting and just would not quit. It was late afternoon, overcast and cold. I keep saying to myself "ok if you don't hit on this cast I'm leaving." Ten minutes later I was begging them to stop. It was getting dark and I took that as a good enough excuse to pack up. You have to know they were gonna quit anyway. Not all of them were this big and I lost track past 15-20 fish. It was all about the fun! Thanks for reading this. I look forward to many more times on the water. The b&w pic is a shad from the Saint John's River near Cocoa Beach 1964. It's my PB for any fish and the hardest fighter. There's a great story behind this!

Nice bream! I used to live in Savannah many years ago.I used to fish the intercoastal waterway near skidway island, where I lived.
Caught many stripers till the *%#*% mullet would hit! Also try hunting island state park lagoon near Beaufort. Many spots, spotail bass,

No Dave, like I said when I'm subscribed, although I've been in Savannah going on 14
Years I haven't taken advantage of fishing. I'm kind starting at the beginning. I'd prefer to fish ponds but. It seems most of the fresh water is west or me. I need to hop up with a knowledgeable retiree near me.
