My name is Todd. I live in Austin and fish Lake Travis and Corpus Christy mainly.
Have been fishing my hole life but these 2 new spots are alien to me. Have fished them for about 2 years and have lots to learn. Any helpful hints would be welcome.
Thanks again and i look forward to chatting with the group.

Welcome to the stage Todd. Sorry I can’t help you but there should be some Texans come on here before too long.

Good Mornin' Todd, welcome to the Forum. I have fished around Corpus, the canals, too. Not my favorite place to fish. I have never fished Lake Travis. I like fishing the So. side of the pike between Aransas Pass and Port A.

Welcome aboard Todd. Texans are real good at making sure you get good information. When I first moved to Brownsville from Weslaco and bought a bunch of new tackle the UPS guy stopped bye one day and asked me if I needed any help with my fishing as he had noted how much stuff I had ordered recently. If you have a boat parked by your house guys just stop and start talking fishing. I keep my boat at a marina and word gets out quickly how things are moving. Don't worry, they'll come to your rescue soon enough.
