Not married but my girlfriend accompanies me sometimes and I enjoy her being with—we both have kayaks and love being on the lakes.

Well guys, my wife doesn't fish but she doesn't mind if I do.
Today is our 46th anniversary. So I guess we both landed a keeper many years ago.

I am sure I am in the minority, but I would not consider going fishing without my wife. She knows how to fish, and that is fact! We both can't wait for opening day when we will be able to cast our lines and wait for that first tug on our lines! We use only artificial bait and practice catch and release. She even takes her fish off the hook. I am 74 years old and do not work anymore due to a work related injury. I was in the automotive repair business my whole life including being a tank mechanic from 1966-1969 and loved every minute of what I used to do. If not for the injury I would still be working, but now WE have more time to launch our 14' aluminum boat hang the electric motor on the back and off WE go!

I’m with you William, I have my Best friend and his Son I go fishing with A lot. With that said I love fishing with my Wife also, and she likes it just as well. She usually out catches me, but I get a good now and again so that all works for me. We both can’t wait for spring and fishing to start up here again.

William, welcome to the Stage. I can only hope my wife would go with me sometime. I know she’d enjoy it. I don’t think you’re in the minority here on the Stage. Most everyone here tries to include their wife in our discussions.

My wife likes to go catching and if that doesn’t happen in the first hour she is ready to go home. I take her to shore and continue my quest.
