Well guys, Sue has to go in for surgery on her OTHER shoulder on Jan 18th. Messed up the rotator cuff and snapped the tendon that goes across the top of shoulder to bicep.
Will be in a sling for 6 weeks and can't lift anything for 3 1/2 months after the sling comes off.
That's 5 months that I'm gonna have to stay pretty close to home again.
Don't see any fishin for me for at least 2 or 3 months.
Oh well. At least it's winter time right now. Come March/April I'm gonna be ready to try the bass spawn though.

Thanks Gman. She feels really bad that I can't go fishin, but it is what it is. They'll be there when I can get back to em.

Very sorry to hear that Steve. But on a positive note, that leaves more fish for the rest of us.
You know I'm yankin your chain.
Maybe by then this covid mess will have settled down some and you and I can safely get together and you can show me how to catch a bass?
Please deliver my best wishes to Sue for a safe procedure and quick recovery.

Thanks Paul, will do. Hopefully we'll be able to do just that. That would be nice. Look forward to it.

Yeah, just went through this back in March thru May. Couldn't get out at all last spring between her other surgery and the Covid stuff.

Sorry to hear that Steve, give her my best regards, and I'll say a prayer for her. Like you said the fish will still be there when you get to 'em. First things first. Poor girl has had a rough year.

Yeah, she injured her right shoulder bout 3 months ago and it never got better so she had to go to the Dr and found out she had to have surgery on it. NOT good.
IDK how she's even gonna be able to wash her face or brush her teeth.
It's gonna be tough goin for awhile I reckon.

Family is always #1 priority.
Is this a new injury, or collateral damage from the other fall?
Obviously, this means you won’t be able to come to Kansas in May....? The way that Covid has been progressing (or not) and hearing this week that some states/groups will not even have the vaccines available by then, makes me wonder if the M & G is even a viable option for this May.
What think y’all ??

I am pretty sure that Clinton State Park would give us an equally good deal next year if we decide to postpone till next year.
That is something I can check on to make sure.
Y’all’s safety and health is most important.
