I have 6 jug lines to test out but the forecast is for 15 - 20 mph winds for NE Texas this weekend. Guess the boat will stay covered up in the barn for awhile and the jug lines will have to wait to get wet.

Mrs Coon & I drove to the lake yesterday. The white caps didn't bother me too much but the rollers told a different story. We went home & took a nap. Today the wind was worse so it's now 2 full days without wetting a hook. Tomorrow I can't make it.
Ist cold front hits tonight. Supposed to get down to as low as 39 tonight & 58 tomorrow. I hope this gets the smallmouth to hitting. They have been slow. Water temp Tuesday was 72 degrees, still warm.

Cooling off here too BC, Had a couple frosts, 40s overnight common. Water today was around 60.5. Now if the wind would just lay down for more than 1 or 2 days a week.........

Surfer told me the other day the water temp was 63.5 on my Jersey beach. Neither one of us were doing much. No fish for me, hard up and down waves for him.

It was a beautiful day here in Wyoming slight breeze all day,the wind never got over 60 mph. Not even a high wind warning this week. Just a beautiful fall.

Too bad no 100 dollar bills show up. I guess everything is on debit card now so less chance of that. A fricken refrigerator? That is crazy. I grew up in High Desert halfway between LA and Las Vegas. It was very windy at times there. It blew tractor trailers over while driving and parked. One time a train almost ran me with a 1973 Olds Omega ( like a Nova ) full of agriculture class students in it. The wind was so loud you could NOT hear the train running. Right as we started to cross the tracks the light on train came on and he started blowing horn. Train crossing was not working. One of the girls in the car screamed so loud my ears still ring today from it.

It was at like 1AM after an all day fieldtrip to an Ag College
