Be that as it may, they're still opportunistic feeders, and standing knee-deep in a pond or canal oblivious to the possible consequences is not a great idea !

Okay ! Back to Florida (again) ! One of my aunt's neighbors (in that same park) was a nice little old lady, about 85, who was nearly blind without her glasses ! One day, as my aunt was approaching for a visit, she noticed a minor commotion on the lady's porch; upon approaching closer, she saw the lady trying to chase a 3-ft. gator off her porch with her broom ! Without her glasses, she had mistaken it for another neighbor's dog ! The 'gator left, but when my aunt explained to her that it was a 'gator she chased off and not a dog, the old lady nearly fainted ! Gutsy gal, in spite of her mistake !

A fed gator is a dead gator.
Jump on anyone you see feeding gators

After a hurricane, my oldest boy and I were picking up palm fronds, when a coral snake ran across the back of his bare hand. didn't bite, just disappeared under the grass. Be careful picking up debris in Florida.

OUCH ! That pains me just thinking about it ! Randy, maybe you should hook up with Oz to wet a line ? I think you fellas may be fairly close to each other !
To 'witness protection': WAIT ! You're under protection and posting your photo on here ?
WTF ? Aren't you giving yourself away, regardless of no address given ? How does that work ?
(Just askin' !)
