A Happy Halloween to you OZ. We live in the sticks so the only trick or treaters that we are going to get are the neighbor's 2 little girls but I'm sure it will cost us some barley pops for the parents. Have a good one.
O Happy Day in OZ.
1st snow in October OBoy.
Poor kids are not use to trick or treating in this.
Sick kids and parents Monday.

Oh, OZ, That doesn't look good. I remember when we moved out here in '91, we got a hellish snow storm, like about 6' on Halloween night and it stayed until about the 1st of April. They had to plow our road with a D9 Cat and a big blower. We just had a tunnel to go through to get in and out. We were the only ones that lived out here at the time. It would have broke me to have to pay for all of that but it is a Township Road. Our taxes did go up the next year though. About 10 years later, somebody bought some land about 3/4 mile away and put up a million dollar house, the taxes went up again.
Higher,More Taxes and Death 2/3 things guaranteed.
If you do not like the weather in Ks. more often than not wait a bit it will change, sometimes for the better sometimes for the worse.
This is not bad just early from summer to the start of winter. Next week kinda back to so called normal.

From what I can see from the picture, it looks like you may live on a hill in the sticks too.
2 acres inside the city limits 1/2 woods 1/2 grass lots of woods around though.
I wish our weather here in Wyoming was so stable. We have two seasons here, Winter and the 4th of July. But the kicker is that anyone who has lived in Wyoming for more than 3 years consecutively has seen snow fall on the 4th of July!

The trout fishing would really have to be good for me to live there.

No you don't that's part of the reason you live there.
The main reason I live here is that we have some of the very best trout fishing in the country.
