For Ocean fishing long distance the allyson ann with the draw back it being a older boat and a two-stroke engine meaning it is bad on gas a 4 stroke is much better on gas. With all that in mind it makes me lean towards the smaller boat 25" and I would bet it had a better engine. I used to have a 27 foot Apollo and it was a great boat in both the Ocean and rivers with the only draw back was its age and its motor which was not good on gas for those 200 mile Ocean trips.

Bigger is better and bigger is more expensive more time consuming than smaller I have a 26 ft century with twin 225 Yamaha nice boat but wish I had got 30 to 32 ft for the long runs out in the gulf in Florida

I just noticed where your from bigger boat hands down , fished out of Pt Judith for 30 years, your going to want the size to chase those yellow fin , the water can get a little crappy off shore the smaller boat you be fine around Block fishing Bass depends what you want to fish

If you need speed and fuel cost no problem nice Parker. But big slow boats got lots of room and permits attached too! Plus over 30' bridges the waves and nice ride in ruff weather.

Down Easter for sure. Good for the bays and good for offshore. I’ve done shark and tuna on a down easter, good steady platform. Full keel and hard chined.

With all the Goodies of course. Had a 23 ft SeaCraft for years, just the right size for strippers, Trailerable and GREAT in Snotty water. Put a lot of fish in that boat. Monomoy, Rose and Crown, and the Old Man.

Both are great boats, but I would grab the newer Parker. Easier to maintain, better on fuel, and off-shore capable, not to mention faster. Parkers are not fancy, but they have what you need. A friend takes his smaller Parker thirty miles out in the pacific for Albs, and loves it.
