Who cares!
Hello all I’m new here and so far it looks like a very interesting place to post and read others comments.
I’d like to invite anyone to comment on striper fishing in Delaware’s waters during the cold months.
What rig is your most favorite rig and set up, could you suggest a good spot no boat required.
Thanks for reading this posting.
Welcome to,the forum.
I’ve not fished for stripers in delaware in a few years. But if you are willing to drive a few hours south to a small town on the eastern shore of,Virginia you’ll find cape Charles. It seems to be the best spot for winter fishing for stripers up to January 1st. They have a free fishing pier there where Stripers are caught occasionally. Kiptopeke state park, a few miles further south has a nice fishing pier that’s lighted at night and draws in baitfish that in turn attracts stripers.
Seems like a lot of fish stop in the lower Chesapeake during migration.
Good luck . Hope this info is helpful.

Try the Indian River inlet at dusk / on incoming tide North Side on the jetty or the walkway. Or under the lights near the coast guard yard. Great place to fish.
Welcome Joe from Alabama Bill.
