Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to say Hello, and tell a little bit about myself. Well let's see, where to start. First off I am always learning new ways to fish. I primarily fish for Crappie, but have been known to keep other fish that bit my hook,, as long as they were leagal size to keep. I have a 14' Raceline V-bottom Aluminum boat of 1960's vintage powered by a 1961 evinrude Fastwin 18. A speed demon it's not but gets me where I'm going fast enough. I am currently living in N.W. Springfield, Mo with my wifeand two little fur babies, Both chihuahua's. I am a disabled veteran with almost 16 years in the Army as a cook/ jack of all MOS's.
I fish in Springfield Lake on the South side of town, a bit in Fellows Lake N.E. of town, and venture upto Stockton on occasions. I moved here in Jan. this year so I'm still feeling out the area as far as fishing goes. I am hoping to get out and do a bit more fishing done this comming year.
I hand tie a few jigs as I can, and fish primarily with those and Live minnows, when I am able to get out and go fishing. Not completely new to the sport of fishing but for many years in the service, wasen't able to very much.
