7/10/24 I am having fun learning how to catch catfish with Gulp minnows on a jig head. I fished a little while this morning and caught some. Also learning that people like to eat them. Of course I was the only one fishing. It was close to 90 degree at 8:30 AM. That is when I stopped fishing. Now to the produce market and maybe Suicide Bridge for steamed crabs. It's up to Pat. Ether Suicide, or Jeff's.

Hey! That's the answer! Just use a hook, not a jig with them! LOL

Good catch Andy. I never thought a catfish would hit a soft swim bait? Did you drag it across the bottom? How did you fish it?

Yes some by cast and slow retrieve close to bottom. Some flipping close to pier and pilings.
