Well I was mowing this afternoon and I noticed my gas level was getting pretty low πŸ₯΄ so instead of risking it and running out of gas out in the field and having to walk back to the other end of the building to get the gas can full of gas , then have to lug that rascal all the way back to the mower. Well I thought to myself °°°°° why not just drive this mower back to the shed and put it away before any of that physical work comes into play??? πŸ€ͺ Sounds like a plan and then since I'm low on gas , might as well go Fishn'!!!!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ₯³
So I did went to Red Cross and put in about 5:50 pm I fished the channel coming in from the lake just as it meets right at the pads. My skunk buster was a 3.76#er from a small group of pads .then I started picking off smaller bass one by one as they were feeding on schools of baitfish in this channel. Put the "Little Black Frog" to work for this .
See a blow up of them busting the bait fish cast over and give it a little wiggle, jiggle and blame fish on.
I went up in the pads right before the sun set and got one up there too. A little better on the size today. Ended up with 8 for the evening , about 2&1/2 hours of fishn' in . First two pics are the same fish. πŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ™

Did you at least take the gas can with you to refill?

Doug; the gas can had plenty of gas in it , just didn't wanna have to carry it that far just in case. Especially in this heat!!!! πŸ˜ŽπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ™

Wait, nary a stogie in any photo; I guess that rules out the Cohiba factor in your catch equation! You're killin it as usual, Andy; nicely done.πŸ‘πŸŽ£πŸ‘πŸŽ£πŸ‘πŸŽ£

Well, then only put a quart in the tank today so you can use the same reasoning again. By those pics, I worked for you! πŸ˜‰

That's the kind of reasoning that a guy can understand me a quart you say? Hummmmm well I'll need an empty quart container and fortunately my drinks I carry on the yac are just that , a quart!!! So I guess I'll have to go empty one .......... On the water that is!!!πŸ‘πŸŸπŸ˜²πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ™

Flytired, there's always a story behind everyone of my days fishn'. Being able to share some with people who can relate to them is priceless.
That's what makes this stage so unique. Some can get out on the water more often than others and if I can take someone with me in their mind for just a brief moment then a successful day it was. "Fish On" !!!! πŸ³πŸ¦ˆπŸ¦ˆπŸŸπŸŸπŸ€£β˜―οΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ™.

I try to mow it so low it turns brown and dies. Go figure if you want it to die it will do well that short. Going fishn' regardlessly!!! Grass grows better in my gravel parking lot than in the yardπŸ₯΄πŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ™
