Non-resident license fees -
ANNUAL/$95 - FIVE-DAY/
$30 - ONE-DAY/$15 (plus $5.00 per additional day -
SECOND-ROD STAMP/
$9.00 - They really 'put it' to non-residents, as annual jumped from $55 to $95, and five-day from $20 to $30 !
(No senior discounts - only resident seniors can get annual license, while only non-residents can get a five-day license !)

I absolutely do not paying for a license, simply does wonders for the great experience we enjoy. Only got caught breaking the law, that was in new Mexico back in the early 80s, had five rods fishing at once, and heard a door close on top of the hill, above where was fishing, went to pulling in lines, down to almost legal when a voice above us stated how many poles you using, my friend and I just stood there staring at each other when the warden approached us and asked the same question. Now we tried to lie to him when he stated, if you tell me which one of you were using more than two rods I won't take you to jail. Now my friend our attention was not divided I promise you. It was midnight, dark and fixing to go to jail when I said, sir it was me. He took me to his vehicle, drew a map on the back of my license, and informed me, if I as much as see you break another law of any kind on any new Mexico lake, you are going to jail. Later the next day we found out he had taken five persons to jail that night for a lot less than using more than one pole. Real happenings. To say the least I saw that warden multiple times thought the years and he never checked my license again.

That does suck, I am permanently disabled, I receive a discount and as I get older, I feel there should be some type of discount for older persons. For crying out loud we ain't gonna be here as long as the younger generation, but some may, but there should be a break in sometimes in life

I hit 65 November 8 so I don't have to have a fishing or hunting license. I have a life time fishing but don't have to replace the broken piece of plastic. In Alabama when you hit 65 no more license.

That's cool, like I've stated, I get a disability license and have for the past 30 years. It has it's pros and cons but on my income I cannot afford that even, that is why I'm trying to juggle my fishing and work so I can rebuild a forge and go back to blacksmithing.

Oh there are many things that can be done, go to a hardware store and purchase an item for your yard, go to a blacksmith and purchase a similar item, the one you purchase from a blacksmith, is better built, better quality and made in America by an American who we pray keeps the money in America. That is the big difference. American made knives, are a far better quality and will probably stay sharper longer.

I bought a lifetime combo fish/hunt license for (I think) $42 when I turned 65 this year.. Still have to buy the extra stamps, like trout and dove each year tho.
