Tuttle creek lake, Manhattan, KS. Caught on minnows. They are getting close to the banks off the rocks.

Nicely done, fj! Tasty, too. They must be getting ready to spawn.

Grew up in Emporia, and always managed to hit Tuttle Creek at least 2-3 times a year with either my family or one of my uncles. Great memories.

If your area has fishing like nw Oregon, you're living the dream! 3 years ago, i fished walleye, salmon and sturgeon on the Colombian, the basin and 3 miles out. That was a great week.

Yes, I truly am, thank you.
After nearly 40yrs "down in the valley" (Rogue valley..."metro-Medford"....lol), I have purchased a sweet cabin on 1/3 acre, in the Cascade Gorge at the north end of Lost Creek Lake and I am about 12-14 minutes from the lake boat ramp and another 2-4 minutes further to wet a line in the iconic Rogue River.
I am actually only about 100yards+ from the river's path, but..... about 450 feet+ ABOVE it !....but yeah, great fishing and beautiful scenery abounds.
Definitely living MY dream at last .
