It was close to 8 :) I had a really good summer and found an amazing honey hole.. I caught this size and bigger for months!! It was CrAZy!!

8? Lol come on now. I'd guess about 4-5ish...8lbs is a slob of a bass. Still a nice catch tho.

That’s a monster! I’ve been trying to catch bass lately too, can I get some advice? Bait used, amount of weights used, reeling method?

Sure! I’ve never fished up north.. I’m a southern girl in the Deep South of Florida. Bass are one of my favorites! I have found there are a lot of monsters down here! Just got to be diligent and patient in finding honey holes.. artificial, senkos all day.. top water frog.. everyone seems to think you have to get the latest and greatest thing and try different things.. I literally fish with 2 or 3 baits and I catch a lot of fish friend... my PB was 5 lbs bigger than this girl, I’ll have to post it! That pic actually made 3 magazines!! Funny thing is Ive only fished 4 years. I never knew I liked fishing until I met my husband... go with what works, I always let the worm go all the way to the bottom.. jig jig sit.. jig jig sit.. BAM! Set that hook and a good steady reel.. not crazy fast not slow.. if it’s a hog I know you want to get it in fast which you should but just don’t horse.. I lost the biggest bass of my life in a rush... keep trying, I promise on a day you least expect it.. you will catch that hog!!
