Yes indeed, use to go every year with a group of guys the weekend after Labor Day. Woke up to 9/11 and I had to wake all my compadres to watch it. Was a really tough trip because of it. That restaurant was like a 5-star with a great wine list, great food, etc. but was very pricy! Got to watch catching Lime's Disease up there..
I remember 9/11 like was yesterday. Not a good day. It was announced on FM radio on my way to report to duty in Downtown. Boss notified all staff on premises to report to conference room. We watched the second plane fly into the tower. I will never forget. I was a bit concerned more aircraft could be used as weapons as I stepped out of my vehicle and walked into Technical Center I worked in and out of for 22 years. I cried my eyes out at Alan Jackson Concert I took whole family to when he and band played " Where Were You ".
