Hi!
I'm new here but looking forward to following along with you all. I'm in NE Iowa and fish as often as I can. With depression and anxiety issues that came after I had sever covid in May 2020, I need to get outside and in nature to calm things... It helps immensely! Also, for me, being around water is good energy. Actually, just being in nature; trees, grass, trails, water bodies... It all is good for your physical and psychological needs.
I work at home as a CSR and take mostly inbound calls... I hate it.
Mainly, because until Dec 2021, I was the afternoon/drive time DJ on a #1 Classic Hits station with 100K watts behind me. I was there for 13.5 years, working my dream career until budgets said otherwise. This is also a source of my depression and anxiety.
This is only one reason why I fish.

Welcome to the Stage Shawn. Fishing is a great way to raise your spirits (especially catching), but being outside in nature is healthy. Good Luck in your adventures and Tight Lines. Don't forget, we love pictures!
PS: I'm a Classic Rock Junkie

Hit Reply or Quote Reply, scroll down and hit Choose File, select the picture in your device, hit Add Attachment. Wait a minute for it to appear in the preview screen, repeat process up to 9 more times if you want, as soon as they appear in the preview screen, hit send. It's pretty easy once you do it a couple times.
You can add a caption to each by scrolling down farther until you see the thumbnail pictures, and write your caption on the white line below each picture.

Hang in there, just take one day at a time. Lost my Wife to Covid-19, 2 years ago. trying to find someplace in Iowa to fish. Thinking of going to Central City Iowa, to catch some Walleye. Went to Oakland Mills near Mount Pleasant last spring and caught some Northern Pike. First time caught anything like that. Usually catch bass, bluegill, sunfish, trout and catfish down here. Wanting to catch something different, something to give me a good fight. I just put them back in the water, just fish for the fun.
