Tim... it was great having you in my boat. I hope it wasn't to bad watching me hobble around the boat! One of my missions in life is to get you on some epic bass fishing. I went searching on Sunday but was more of the same. Good luck with the new house and I know our paths will cross again soon. BTW, my son and I had a 25 fish day on Tuesday of this week.

Hey Steve. What lake were you on Tuesday?

Sorry I missed it, thanks for the invite, I appreciate it. Just couldn't make it happen. Pic #5 is right there in my neighborhood near Pirates Cove. My family has had a place on Silverado Beach for decades. Looks like y'all had a great time.

Another great tale of the recent West Coast M & G! Great times and fun pursuit of the fish will provide memories of a lifetime! Very nice bass to wrap things up as well Bric!

The M&G was a resounding success and a good time was had by all. My hats off to Rhyno for organizing the whole thing. Thank you very much Ryan! I think everyone showed up with great and friendly attitudes and we all left with new friends. Thanks to Jeremy for some delicious breakfasts!
And I’m so grateful to Garey (OBG) and NoCal Steve for getting me out on the water! Thank you guys very much.
Hanging out by the fire at Denny’s (40Grit) place was a blast. Oh and the fishing was just the mutual theme that got us all together.
Well it was the last hour of the last day and it was 1-0, Garey 1 bass, me zero. The wind was picking up again and the clouds were rolling in. Garey motored us over to one last fishy looking spot out of the wind with reeds sticking up and shoreline brush. I turned to the captain and asked what would you throw? He replied with a question: “What do you think I catch most of my fish on”? So I picked up my wacky senko and made one last cast. I let it sink, then I went to lift it an inch or two. It felt like maybe another snag in the reeds, but I set the hook anyway because those are free. And it was fish on!!

Great post and pics Tim! Was a pleasure meeting and hanging out with you, we’ll have to sip some 40GRIT again when one of us gets in the others neck of the woods!

For a good look at how the fishing on Berryessa is right now go to the You Tube channel The Bass Hookup and play the video titled This Lake is Hot.

Was great meeting up with you at Clear Lake M & G!!! Had a really great time and look forward to doing it again! Saw! and me went out to try the Napa River, was a bit windy and not very accommodating. lol He hooked and loss a nice one and I don't know but I think I got a couple nice strikes trolling but nothing stuck. I think it will be much better when we have some steady sunshine and a bit of heat.

The meet and greet was pretty great with all those returning and new folks like yourself attending!!!

Hey Bric, it looks like a great time was had by all, I wish I could have made it up from Havasu. But I would have certainly froze being I'm used to 98-104° temps, looks like was very chilly at Clear Lake that weekend but I'm sure a lot of fun.

Hey Langer. You're right bout that. Plus the rain didn't help one bit.
