I wasn’t aware there was any edible fish other than cat or salmon. All other fish were just for sport fishing. You know, catch and release. Just kidding but seriously I have a freezer full of both cat and salmon which on the the average I have one or the other for dinner 4-5 times a week. I only eat wild caught Alaska salmon I buy and freeze all cat fillets in vacuum bags and the fresh dressed salmon I cut into meal sized portions, vacuum seal and freeze. Don’t get me wrong, I know there are many other fish that are good eating but I am just partial to cat and salmon, but if I go to Cracker Barrel I always have their trout if on the menu and if not you guessed it, I have catfish.

If want to eat fish I go to Lake Erie for walleye or perch. Bluegill and crappie are good I just don’t like to clean them.
