The rain has been a blessing! Now it needs to stop! As bad as we needed it, if it keeps raining it’s going to cause more damage and flooding.there’s rain in the forecast for early this up coming week! Went to Sonoma lake last weekend and the store at the private marina was part of the lake! They started to release water, I’ve only seen Sonoma lake higher one other time years ago when they couldn’t open the gates to release water, there was so much Debris it jammed up the release gates, they had to send divers down to clear all the debris out. Today I had to get out so I headed to R.F.P the water is like coffee with creamer and is way up, most of the lower lake trail is under water, so I found a opening in the bushes and found some openings between all the tress and Managed to catch 1 Bass! The struggle is real!!! Hopefully it starts warming up soon, where still having winter temperatures, good luck and be safe!

Good update and nice catch on that bass. It sure would be nice if Nature could get things in balance...eh?! Too little...too much...you need just the right amount of rain!

Sorry to hear of all the damage from the flooding out there Matt. What does it say on the Morton Salt container? WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS. You guys defiantly need a little balance there for sure. Glad you got one to play anyway, it's better than the stripey critter.

Thanks Fred! As bad as I wanted to go out today, it was 34 degrees when I got up this morning, so I decided to clean up my tackle and put new line on all my poles! Hope your enjoying your retirement! Good luck and be safe!!

Congratulations on hooking one with the current conditions. I've been out trying several locations all chocolate milk and have had no success.

Your right about that Fred.Have not had the boat out let, waiting for the lakes to settle down with all the debrea that is floating around on them but I'm going crazy 🤪 been doing all my Honey Dues !
Hope all is good 👍

Be extra careful when you do get out Andy, any waterlogged debris may be just below the surface. Run slow for a while, until it clears up. Good luck whenever you get out my friend.
