Stanis Loc: Sacramento, California

I'm interested in any tips for trout fishing from shore. Specifically regarding Collins Lake, Lake Camanche, lake Amador, lake Pardee, and Folsom lake. Plus any other places within two hours from the Sacramento California area please

Last week Monday. lake Amador was very dirty, no trollers. Fished from bank North side of Dam, 1 - 3lbr. cheese Pwer bait. Saw 1 other caught on mouse tail, used lots of garlic scent. Rain this Mon-Wed will keep it dirty.
Lake Camanche 81% full Thursday-Friday is clean, we were trolling by Dam 12 hrs total... 8 - 2lbr to 4.5lbr trout. Saw on N. shore Fri only 2 bank fisherpersons. (politically correct). i would try either side of launch ramp. Planted there Friday.
Lake Pardee should to be clean like Camanche. You will see around launch ramp either side places to bank fish with some walking.

Shasta Lake (I guess out of your territory) was looking good yesterday. Saw half dozen fisher persons. All had a few Browns on stringers. Most fishing with minnows.
