So I signed up for a fly fishing 101 class at my local fly shop. It’s tomorrow so I will let you know how it goes. I have been out twice so far and I am enjoying casting so far definitely more then traditional cast and drag lol.
Classes are a great way to learn! Gets you enough of the basics that you may not get frustrated and get turned off which happens to many folks.. Glad you found one close to you.
Once you do that if money allows hook up with a fly guide and go with them you’ll learn more in a day than you will in a lifetime

They are offering a guided tour class in Allentown at little lehigh creek for 125.00 I am thinking about it. Trout season opens next week may go up before the class and try my luck.
Look for my Cougarbaby went to the clarion post (That’s what happens when you go with a professional fly guide)
