Some Karen started giving me crap about hurting the fish. Something something the fish gets damaged. I told I use lures and don't gut hook them. When I hooked the second fish she said I killed it. I told her she killed the fish because she looked at it. Get lost.

Good job. You can also remind the Karen and others that it is illegal to harass hunters and fishermen. This is true in many States. Check your state's regs. You bought a license that allows you to persue your hobby legally and that license protects your rights as a sportsman. Remind those that interfere with your rights that they are breaking the law and you have the right to call law enforcement.

You should have smacked it with a fish billy and told her now it's dead, and I'll be frying and eating it tonight...

That said she was not a Karen, that has to do with people harassing people of color, it's a specific label...she was simply a straight out PITA...unless of course you are green, that would qualify, Lol

That’s the best response you can give them, especially if you’re holding your phone when you tell them they’re breaking the law by harassing you. Yes you have to stick up for yourself. That's over with now no biggie.
I went back today and pow I got a bass that I caught 2 times previously.

Old Karen brought me luck.
Bass was 15" 1 3/4 lbs.

Caught the same fish 3 times this month.
