Damn Fine.
Enjoy.
"Bomb Train" LOL
There is a reference to the 40-mile-long Russian advance into Ukraine, which stalled out.
You can actually hear that Burrrrrrrrrr sound as 3,900 30mm rounds per minute are released.
65 rounds per second 80% on target on armored vehicles.
Oh it gets better......
Here's the video.

My Bad,
I forgot to mention Colonel Kim Nicole Reed-Campbell and her feat of bringing home one seriously damaged A-10.
It is why we love the A-10 Warthog, totally American at heart and soul.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m45Ojz8rvsUGreat post, Blackdog. I'm pleased that these bad boys aren't being abandoned yet, as I've been reading about recently. Chewing up armored vehicles and artillery pieces is a good thing for our guys and allies on the ground. No real effective alternative available as far as I know, but what do budget cutting politicians know about real people's concerns. Money would be "better" allocated to Woke military training and huge increases in IRS manpower increases. NOT !

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m45Ojz8rvsUGreat post Blackdog. I've always loved the A-10, and seeing videos of it in action. We used to have a squadron at our National Guard base up in Windsor Locks. The unique sound and profile are very cool, and seeing that 30mm poking out of the nose is awesome. They used to do a flyover of all the Memorial Day celebrations in the state, and my little town being up on a hill gave us a couple treetop passes every year. The Hogs were so close you could tell if the pilot had a moustache or not.
Thanks, N4F and FF,
I also am glad they have kept the A10 active and upgraded its electronics and weapons.
I think the USA should declare war on Ukraine. (?) Follow me here.....
We declare any target in Ukraine is fair game regardless of Nationality. In this manner, we are not at war with Russia. Next, we begin a massive build-up in Ukraine. We protect our assets.
The only way to get the USA to back down is for all other nationalities to leave.
Russia doesn't really want a huge US military presence on their Southern Border or said another way 300 miles from Moscow.
As for Russia threatening Nuclear war of any Nature, our position is clear. Should a Nuclear weapon be used by an enemy the USA will launch "all out" Nuclear retaliation against any country that chooses to use Nukes, aka Detente.
IMHO
Okay, too much caffeine and news this morning. Probably why they (strategists) don't ask my advice. LOL
You guys have a great weekend.

as a former combat officer I respectfully disagree. Oligarchs do not care about the collateral damage brought about by their decisions. they only look at the end result of whether or not they have achieved their objective. the deployment of any nuclear weapon would ultimately be a global disaster affecting the entire planet. Do they care about that? I doubt it.

I think you are right, while going nuclear would not achieve his intended results it would keep us from achieving ours it is the mentality of if I can't have I neither can you. mutual destruction is only an effective deterrent if both sides fear destruction more than not achieving their goals and I doubt that is the case with Putin who may not have that many years to live anyway
A-10s pulled my bacon outta the fire during GW1. Hearing that Gatling gun on the ground is unsettling, even though you're on they are on your side.

Roger That UncleRob.
I've never been in combat, knock on wood. The old man was in the Corp that went north of the 38th parallel in Korea. I grew up on military bases. Sometimes he would look at me and say, "War is Hell, Boy!" I get it, not sure if I could ever come back if I was ever in it, but I get it!!
With regards to Rip and DC....
Parabellum:
-Para Bellum is Latin for "prepare for war" and is often used within the context of the phrase Si vis pacem, para bellum, meaning "If you want peace, [you should] prepare for war".
I'm not saying Nuclear War. I'm saying, the USA would be better off dealing with Russia from a position of strength.
God Bless all of you. I am eternally grateful.

Nuclear war? My neighbor turned his bomb shelter from the 60s into a swimming pool.
Not worried No sweat. From the movies I watched as a kid, it might make giant bass.
And I payed attention in 6th grade. They taught us in the event of nuclear war to turn away from the “flash” and get under your school desk. I have a desk so I guess I’d be ok. NOT
The teacher forgot to teach the last part—- kiss your ass goodbye.

Duck and Cover ! Like that was gonna be a big help. Nikita K. vs. West was some scary a$$ stuff.
After JFK & LBJ, although It's hard to admit it, but RMN was just what the Dr. ordered. Everyone knew he could push the launch button with little hesitation or remorse. Including the Soviets.

yes RMN had problems but he was strong on foreign policy. actually Watergate wasn't as bad as some of the stuff that went on this last pres. e******n but times have changed and not as much accountability now days. of course we had a much fairer press back then that seemed to go after both sides and kept their feet to the fire

There have been a few presidents that were elected that I didn’t v**e for but I always felt safe.
With Joe—not so.
One badass machine for sure
