Hello Rondo. I too am a kayaker in NC. Where are you catching the reds? Have had my share of blues and trout are really running well this year. As for snook, not yet either.

Hi plumbob I’m fishing in Edgewater Florida. I have been here for years and not one snook. Some say fish at night, but I’ve seen plenty of them caught during the day. I don’t get it.

Good Morning Rondo, can't help you on that one best bet is to paddle on over when you see one caught and see what is being used. We have a local bait shop here where a few locals sit around a table telling stories and exchanging info. I have tuned in to the conversation and once in awhile just plain out ask the guys in the know. I was stationed in the pan handle back in the 70's and hanging out at the docks in Destin Florida was my source of info. Good luck my friend.
