Absolutely. Still works that way for me.
Additionally, I consider Integrity to be like virginity in that it is only lost once. Once it is lost, it is forever lost.

I believe a person can rebuild their integrity it is certainly not easy but doable. God allows u-turns so should we.

That's the way I was raised, that your word was your bond. We were told, don't make any promises that you can't keep. A much better, if rarer these days, way to live.
