1/26/23 Looking for yellow perch.

1/26/23 Finally caught a few fish in the marina, but not what I wanted. No yellow perch. I released the bass. I caught them with 2" crappie strips on a 1/16th jig head.

Nice ones Andy I've never used crappie for bait before 🤔

I don't know for sure but I think any cut fish strips will work. If cut in small 2"x 1/2" strips. last year was the first time I tried them at the white perch spot and caught the largest perch on them.

I didn't catch the crappie at the marina if that is what you mean. I don't know what your talking about.

No, I caught the crappie the day before in fresh water. Then I went white perch fishing next day in salt water. I think that is what you mean.

Bass are fun to catch but perch are much better for eating
