There are two in the city One is located on Parnassus ave. Parnassus heights district.on the south side of Golden Gate Park.
close to 7th avenue. That is the older hospital. The new facility is located at 16th st.& 4th st. In the Mission Bay complex. The address is 1825 4th st. The older facility address is 500 Parnassus ave. Both facilities have ample parking garages but they do fill up quickly especially the 4th st facility. But I don’t think that should be a problem for you arriving that early.

I bought a 12 foot 4x6 and had them cut it in half. Came home and put them both under the cracked area. Bout 19+ inches from outside to outside.
They are both on a 2x4 that is 33+ inches.
I wedged them both in pretty good.
I think it will be OK for the rest of the winter.
Come summer I'll fix it permanently. πŸ‘

Steve if you are going to replace it check into replacing it with a PARALLAM wood product. Far superior to 2x materials doubled up.

There is also Microlam engineered beams. However, I can't find the difference between the PARALLAM and the Micro as to which one would be needed.

I think we call them glue lams so as not get it wrong whether it’s a PARALLAM or a Micro. I know the micro should be stronger going by the theory of how they go together and what gives them strength. The only time I’ve put in micro’s was a vaulted ceiling that each beam was over 30ft. But let’s be honest all that matters is what name the architect used on the print. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€ͺ

One of the guys I fish with always brings bananas for a snack and we always catch fish, therefore I think it’s just a bad myth.

How’s everyone doing during this Long Winter? I was wondering if anybody ever heard that taking bananas on a boat is bad luck for fishing, we were in St. Thomas on a charter boat and we packed a few sandwiches and we had bananas also. Well the captain had a fit about bananas on his boat about it brings very bad luck, I never heard that in all my fishing days. Did any of you ever hear about that ? Tight lines to all.

Growing up in Hawaii, it has been there for as long as I can remember. The Hawaiians don't allow them, so I have followed suit. Don't mess with their legends. No bananas on my boat

It must be true, it's on the internet so it has to be factual. Can't put anything untrue on the internet.

You are welcome Steve, next time you are there, post a pic of the entire span and maybe the folks on here can come up with an idea.
