Hello Everyone,

I am CK and located in Lacey Washington. I primarily fish for crappie all year round. If you are on Facebook you would have seen me on the group called panfishing Washington.

I eat every fish (crappie) every Friday (Fish fry Friday) and I do it old school with Crisco.

Thank you letting me join this Forum

Isn’t that American Lake in Lacey? Is that where you crappie fish? How are the Kokanee there?… 🐟on

I used to fish American Lake in Parkland, just out side Ft Lewis. We always targeted silver trout.

Welcome to the Stage. I used the Quote reply, so you would I was directing my welcome to you. The Chitchat section is a lot of fun and a way to share non fish related information and antics, you just have to avoid political discussions. Have fun here and don’t hesitate to post pictures.

Greetings CK. The lakes in Lacey
are so congested I’ve stayed clear in the summer except for Hicks a couple of times. I lived in west Olympia and fish Summit and Spenser Lakes up north.
I’m wondering if you’ve had luck
crappie fishing Black lake in Thurston county?
Tight lines,
Monday

That is the first lake I fished for crappie with success.

Hello,

No American lake is near Fort Lewis and known for the kokanee and yellow perch and small mouth bass.

These are Washington state red tail surfperch.
They are similar to crappie with a soft meat texture, but caught out of the Pacific ocean.

Nice 👍
