Hey, been wanting to fish your area for a while. I did launch on Chehalis River at Montesano and boated down to bay but it was off season. We drifted bait for Sturgeon which we would have had to release. Hoping to fish the bay and tributaries next season there. Not comfortable going over the bar in my boat but I have buddies with suitable vessels for that. I'm in Puyallup area.

Yes feel the same way but I don’t get out much for the same reason plus yard work or wood working

Hey welcome to the site. I fish the chehalis alot and knocked the silvers dead after the kings dissipated a lil. Got pretty tired of releasing them. I am seeing bigger kings now than I have in previous years. I travel down from Puyallup a few times by myself when buddies can't make it. If your willing to meet their and pitch in for boat gas if we have to chase the fish down I would invite you next time I have space in boat

Nice fish Springer. I'm in Puyallup also and always looking for new waters and new fishing companions. Wife's a good sport but its getting harder and harder to get her on the boat any longer than half a day.

Marc, welcome to the forum.
I’m up north but if you want to come out on the sound when the season opens again, I’ve a spot on my boat.
I’ll be hitting the Edmonds Oil Docks to Richmond Beach, and maybe across the inlet over toward Kingston. Putting it at Eddie Vine.
Additionally, I troll the mouth of the Duwamish for coho when that opens.
I’ve fished some spots from the shore on the Chehalis, Cowlitz, and Satsop, but always up to join in for walks to new places.
