Do any of you guys eat the fish you catch? Any health concerns? I’ve read the advisory on the AZGFD website. Kind of disturbing.

I eat all the fish I keep, have never worry about it. I am sure the fish are safer than breathing the air in the big cities.

Safer than the air, I like that, but probably true.

We eat all the fish caught mainly on the river between Needles and Havasu. Mostly stripers and channel cats.
Have seen advisories at Powell lake and Alamo Lake.
Are there specific advisories for Lake Havasu and the river?

I asked at the Bass Shop last summer about eating Havasu fish and the reply was "folks are concerned about too many people peeing in the pool" But that probably happens in all lakes?

If your not sure about eating the fish then please release them so others may enjoy the fight.

Just because I'm growing a third eye on my forehead doesn't mean it's from the fish. I live in socal so there can be many reasons.

No matter where you are in a stream, river or lake there's someone upstream or some animal upstream peeing and pooping. Lake Mead has human bodies in it for many years. I'd still eat.

The air you are breathing is probably worst than any amount of fish you are going to eat.
