I went back this past Wednesday, I struck out again.there is a post there saying the average person will spend 6.5 hrs to make a catch. I put in about 3 hrs so far . I’ll have to go back if I want to make a catch, l ol. Here a few pictures

That definitely sounds like a challenge as far as the catching ratio goes! Are you targeting landlocked salmon?

I think lake trout, or rainbow, also it’s a good place for small mouth . Salmon would also be good 👍

Yes I think so , it serves water to 3 million residents of the commonwealth of Massachusetts. Since no boats of any kind are allowed makes it nice for visitors. Miles of shore line fishing

Hmmm...very interesting! So not even any paddle craft! That would definitely make this body of water a challenge in terms of where to decide on a fishing spot. I wonder if there are any depth charts available to show where the drop offs are, and how frequent the public access is for various other regions around the reservoir? It sounds like you would need to walk a fair distance away from common areas so as to get away from places that receive a lot of pressure.

Good luck on your future plans for a visit...and I hope you beat the odds on their posted statistics!
