Over the last year or so, my buddy and I have gotten addicted to inshore fishing. Mainly fish out of washington, NC and have started branching out further. Looking for advice on good spots from bayboro, New bern, and all around really.

Hey Ryan you been fishing in my previous honey holes. I am a former Belhaven resident and miss that area more than i can say. Almost any tributary leading into the Pamlico trout are still running from what my former neighbor tells me. Drum have slowed down and of course can't keep any flounder.

Have you fished by the Aurora plant where they empty out onto the Pamlico. Warm water being pumped out makes for some good striper action. Not far from that area is Indian Island where the shallows will provide an assortment of catches.

Bath creek fishing the points was always a good spot too. Across the Pamlico sound Swan Quarter would be well worth the ride when the trout are running well also.

Can't help you on New Bern I never ventured down there when the fishing was so good near bye.

Yeah man I love this area and it's hard to go elsewhere. The trout have moved out of dinah's landing for the most part and I was just curious what else is around the area. I will definitely research the areas you mentioned. Thank you so much!
