To all my neighbors in Florida please stay safe. Listen to the Emergency Offices in your Area. This is a big storm hitting our State the biggest in a long time. Pull your boats out now!
By Saturday some of us may be back to fishing

Mike

Hurricane folks, be safe!

Some of you are probably using Wind.com to look at the weather before fishing. It is also great for tracking hurricanes. Just a note, the wind speed on Windy.com is less than the forecast because Windy measures at ground level and hurricanes are measured at 10 meters above the ground.

This is a surge risk assessment that is based on elevation. This is handy if you live near water.

Good luck to all of you.

Be safe hurricane Michael hit our area 90% of our trees are gone. The schools have lost a large amount of students teachers and coaches and support personnel. No jobs or housing. It'll be years before we recover.

Michael came close to wiping out Mexico Beach. We started vacationing there around 2013 and have been back every fall since. Mexico Beach is building back and the locals in the area really appreciate the vacationers that frequent the area. We are sitting in Port St. Joe now with mid 70’s weather and no humidity. Luckily the hurricane is not supposed to bother this area too bad. Prayers for the people in South Florida.

That was great advice.
I'm in Port Charlotte.
We had 140 mph winds on the ground. I live in South Gulf Cove a canal community
Here's my girl before and after IAN.
Most boats rode the storm on the lift with no significant damage.
My best friend here has 2 boats a 30' scrab
And a 21' wahoo.
The wahoo snapped the straps holding it to the bunks.
And flipped off the lift resting upside down with the T top securing it to the bottom.
I'll get pics.
The pic is today.
The before won't load
