I can honestly say at this stage of my life, those 20 points probably make a strong case for fishing over sex. I pretty much have the green light to go fishing any time I want. The green light for sex hasn't worked for awhile. That light is permanently broken I believe.

😆 gotta agree there. I've often been TOLD to go fishin',, on those few days I get grouchy!

Kind of reminds me of the expression "bait and switch". When your dating and first married, that green light pretty much works all the time. After you are together awhile(unless there are health issues), the green light fades and then disappears. What you had while you were dating maybe have been part of the "baiting", then the "switch." Such is life.

Been fishing since 1957 (I was 4yrs.old).
Been "having sex" since 1971. Been "single" since 2006.

Instead of just "having some fishing gear and a tiny, no frills boat" prior to 2006, I now own several worthy boats, dozens of rod & reel combos, literally hundreds of lures and an inordinate amount of tackle beyond lures, and now in retirement......I come (!?) and go, eat & sleep, spend my money on 'whatever', as I please..... with no restraints, caveats, demands from others, nor depend on others for "fulfillment".
Am I in "the best place in life, for me" ?....damn right I am.

A 30+lb salmon, a 15+lb steelhead, a limit of"football" trout caught on the fly....VS. an enticing, but possibly sketchy rendezvous with an attractive female ?

Hehehe.....fishing wins.

🎶...."Don't worry...be happy 🎶"

Regretfully, not necessarily my choice, it would be fishing. You can't make people be interested in something if they aren't.

Expect little from people. You are seldom disappointed. Sorry, I know people don't like that line.
