That takes me back 60 or so years. Can still see the hill in front of our row home with truck paths and army men lining the way in the dirt clumps.

About 3 years ago my sister gave me a bag of them at Christmas in the stocking. They are out there some where.

Just for giggles i looked at Amazon. Yep still out there.

A few buddies and I raced them on a track in a vacant lot two doors away. Sound effects were realistic.... no black smoke just diesel noise....dust and sore arms after the races.

The toys if our youth bring back memories. As do the grown men's toys. A pickup truck, a boat and motor and the lures of ours as well as those of our grandfather's

Lots of memories…
Never had Tonka trucks, but had Matchboxes, Hotwheels, Lincoln logs, lots of plastic Army men and a BB gun (hundreds of hours of entertainment there)

I never had one but when I was an Operating Engineer Local 3, I made sure my first son had everyone Tonka made...lol He had a Blade (motor grader), Dump Truck, Dozer, etc. Over 40 plus years ago....LOL
