I don't know if you have noticed but they're grown men today the won't get out of bed, go get a job and make their own living.

As soon as I finished high school, I didn't take the Summer to play, goof off to do nothing. I ran into a high school buddy who told me a mobile home factory was hiring, I was just 19 years old and I went to apply, was hired, given tool's then went to work in the cabinet department building counter tops all day, our department also handled all cabinets installation. I worked there for 4 years, I was young, strong and was always working overtime, I'd go work for other supervisors who couldn't get their own people to work over. I built walls and helped set and install them, the window guy's I did overtime with them. Plumbing inside and under the house installing work, flooring and decking I was there. Now I remembered these skills for a lifetime and built the 5,000 square foot house with just my own two hand's in 1990. Nowadays I see grown men who stay home, live off momma's social security check because they're too sorry and lazy to get off her tata's and work to make their own money!

I've told a few that I've met, Hey momma's not going to live forever and you're not going to know how to make it on your own! I let a woman who found herself homeless and rented her a room in our house for $250 a month and pay her part of the electric bill, I made her son go get a job..That lasted for one month, I knew and asked his former boss why he fired him? He said, I got tired of hunting him down and he was crying 😭 Now he's 35 year's old, He said, he feels like he's being punished,The boss said, Punished?!! They just want you to pay your own way and get off your momma's tata's! News flash! There's a lot of grown men, I found out have this afraid to work mentality! ...I loved working building house's, I loved refinishing furniture for 35 year's and fishing like a fool to put wholesome fresh food in the house! What has happened to people?!! Shiftless and sorry crop of men.

A mouth full and true. All they want is free time to do nothing but lunch off some sorry woman who is just like them. They steal,lie, cheat and drink and get high all day. Our tax paying dollars take care of them. The parents are the same way so it’s all they know. Mom laying up with different men different baby daddy’s and they do the same thing. I was raise to work. If you want something WORK for it. Video games and hustle is all they know. People complain about others coming into the US but most come to WORK and they or at least some of them does and make an honest living. We as a nation and those that are real parents know the value of a dollar and we do what is suppose to be done to make an honest living. Growing up you could not live under my parents roof and don’t work. Even the Bible tells us to work.

It's all in the way you raise your kids. My nephew is just like you said living off his mother and can't do for himself. He was babied all his life and given anything he wanted. My son, one year younger, was raised in the same area but we didn't coddle him and he had chores he had to do to get an allowance. He's now an Aeronautical Engineer with a new home and a very bright future. Raise your kids right and there won't be the problems you post.

We have an old saying here when someone is like what you post, "They didn't have any raising" and that's pretty much true.

I know many of us have guided our children to work, education goals, life skills and other good aspects but some people haven't done their children any favors allowing them to lay up with no for pariental guidance whatsoever, and where they like it or not they're accountable to God for what that child does especially to be reared in the al admonition of the Lord and like my other brother said, God will hold the parents accountable, but there comes a Time when the child themselves has grown up and put the big pants on and make their own living and provide for themselves. they're jobs out there! if I was a young man I'd have the job I want in about 3 days or less that doesn't come from sitting around that comes from known skills and you tell these kids, well if you can't go to work now, you can go to school and there's always an excuse why they can't do that and then they end up in prison because all they know how to do it's steal, do drugs and get in trouble and have babies out of wedlock, if they don't intend to pay for it so the man's going to get them then for that.

What if parents raised the kids properly but the kid was a bad kid?

My kids are doing good. One is in Air Force. The other is having grandkids. Do I get a no questions asked entrance?

The blood of Jesus washes away sin, God holds parents' accountable for what we do with our children in regards to God Bible says so. I'm saying the woman that stays In the back room has a 35-year-old man child that never has and never will get full time job and support himself..and some of the places that I have been and lived. I've seen the old trailer parks full of kids that is the same way. The party guy's living off the welfare check of his parents, they're barely making it themselves now. what are they going to do? they have no experience doing anything, if anything should happen to her are those other parents with children grown children, who will not work at and will tell you to their your face they hate work. After losing our brother a few days ago, we're thinking about moving our Camper to a lot somewhere and starting over to build a house and they will need to go somewhere else. Soon!

If it is your place tell them to get out. I think enabling others is not a good thing. I help people that need something but I don't expect something in return. Many won't do anything for others ever. I have helped a few over the years that I had to tell to get lost and don't come back.
